RH Marine presents at Electric & Hybrid World Expo

18 June 2018

At the Electric & Hybrid World Expo Conference in Amsterdam on June 29th 9 am, Ehab El Amam, consultant Bridge & Automation starts the discussion about hybrid energy systems, smart automation, optimisation of energy generation sources and consumer scheduling and planning. Ships want to minimise their energy costs and ideally perform the energy-consuming tasks as quickly as possible when needed. The proposed controller-EMS takes this trade-off into account when determining optimal load scheduling and load sharing. Such a controller results in decreased fuel consumption and minimised maintenance requirements, along with improved power quality.
